2020 blessed us with an album from Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide. These are guys we can call the big 4 in the Nigerian music industry.

Twice as Tall was the fifth studio album by Burna Boy. It was released on August 14, 2020, by Spaceship Entertainment, Atlantic Records, and Warner Music.


Recording sessions took place in 2020, with Burna Boy, American singer and songwriter Diddy, and Mama Burna Bose Ogulu serving as the record’s executive producers.


The album is a mixture of Afrobeats, Afrobeat, dancehall, pop, and hip hop. It was produced primarily by Telz, along with production from Rexxie, Timbaland, and DJDS, among others.


The album ended up winning a Grammy in the Best Global Music Album category.

Made in Lagos is the fourth studio (and second major label) album by Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid.


It was released on October 30, 2020, by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.


It features guest appearances from British artists Skepta and Ella Mai, American R&B singer H.E.R., Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley, and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tems, Tay Iwar, and Terri.


The album has broken many records since its release.

Olamide’s Carpe Diem was the eleventh studio album of Olamide and his first body of work under American label and distribution company, Empire Distribution.


He released the tracklist for the album on the 1st of October 2020 featuring Fireboy DML, Bad Boy Timz, Omah Lay, Phyno, Peruzzi, and Bella Shmurda. Album production credits to Young John, Pheelz, ID Cabasa, P.Priime, VStix

As we edged towards the end of the year 2020, Davido returned with his fourth studio album ‘A Better Time’ to round off 2020.


The album features the heavyweights home and abroad with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Lil Baby, Nas, Souti Sol, Young Thug, Mayorkun, Ckay, Bella Shmurda, Tiwa Savage, Mugees on a tape filled with a mixture of both high and gentle energies throughout.
