The album, entitled 'Timeless', which comprises 17 tracks, was highly anticipated and has since broken multiple records. Specifically, it has achieved the highest number of first-day streams for an African album on Apple Music, according to an announcement made by Apple Music on April 3, 2023. In addition, 'Timeless' has broken previous records for first-day streams on Spotify and Boomplay, charting in 102 countries and reaching a new African peak of number 2 in the United States. Notably, the album set a new all-time record for the biggest debut week on Spotify Nigeria in its first day of release, surpassing the previous record set by Burna Boy's 'Love, Damini'. The opening day stream count of 7.25M on Boomplay was also the highest ever for a first-day stream count, outpacing Burna Boy's 'Love, Damini'. Finally, with 'Timeless', Davido has surpassed Asake's debut album 'Mr. Money With the Vibes' to claim the record for the most successful album in Nigerian music history.
